Meagan Monique Good was born August 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who managed her in her teen years and to her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She began her career as an actress at four years old. She was an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her acting career. At the age of thirteen, her debut role in a feature film was filmed. In the role of Cisely, a troubled teenager from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. For this she was awarded two awards and her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good took on small film and television roles for several years, before transitioning to more seasoned roles in the mid 2000s. Killmer attended Baylor University Waco Texas. The school awarded her the B.F.A. degree in performing arts in 2010. She began her acting career in the screen world with she Can Dream, a web series. Kara Killmer debuted on screen after appearing in numerous local shows in Simon Fuller's television series If I Can Dream pilot in the year 2010. The series' focus was a group that began to move in together in Hollywood, California.
