Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.) American gymnast that was regarded as one the sport's greatest athletes. Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where her and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles took home a medal for vaulting, and also a medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began competing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. She was the most dominant in her sport within a mere two years. Biles made headlines by her consistent performance, her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of difficulty that she included throughout each competition--vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercise.
